Safety – A Shared Value

“We make NO compromise with respect to Morality, Ethics, or Safety. If a design or work practice is perceived to be unsafe, we do not proceed until the issue is resolved.”

We believe:

  • It is S & B’s moral obligation to plan the safest possible methods for our employees to perform their tasks.
  • It is every employee’s obligation, regardless of their rank or job description, to STOP the work if safety is at risk with a job task assigned to them or a co-worker.
  • Employees should immediately take charge with the SOS process … See it … Own it … Solve it if an unsafe situation is in progress. It’s that simple … It’s that important!
  • When safety is PLANNED into a task, SUCCESS is planned into that task.

S & B has received national recognition for its safety program and accomplishments.
